[Rating M16][Hurt/Comfort][Tragedy]
Action, conspiracy, strange mysterious tech and blood fueled vengance. Agentexeider’s stories have always refused to hold back with their awesome moments, and that has included its characters too. But what happens when the weight of the world and his losses happens to tip over the saga’s favourite cyber fox super agent into the pit of despair?
Well, cathartic therapy with our dynamic duo of course. Over a gripping, emotional, anger and sadness inducing retelling, we get to learn what exactly made Kaiden Ellison the fox he is now. This one story gripped my heart, wanted me to jump in there to strangle some people, and all in all was an excellent tragic story, with some shocking and zeitgeist shifting reveals for those invested in the series.
For any of you who enjoyed the other three fics in the Shadows in the Dark saga, this is essential reading, and one of four very good reasons to catch up with it if you’re unfamiliar. An excellent fic all around, and one that you will feel as you read it.
