Comic: Creating a Diversion (by Ask The ZPD)

I can’t stop laughing!  This is too perfect!  Ask The ZPD has been hilarious in the past, but this just takes the cake!

If you don’t know what this is referencing, a) you had no childhood, and b) watch this video and you’ll understand.

It comes at the perfect time too!  Apparently Zootopia just passed The Lion King in the list of Highest-Grossing Animated Movies of All Time, taking the #4 Spot!  So, what better time could there be for a Lion King crossover?

Check it out over on tumblr or after the break!

    • Nope. The Lion King grossed more evn before adjusting for inflation.

Zootopia pulled in a domestic of $341,268,248 in theatres. By contrast, in 1994 prices, The Lion King took $968,483,777. Adjusting it for inflation, that would equate to $1,572,622,911.50 right now.

It doesn't stop Zootopia equalling TLK as my favourite Disney film (it'll never knock it off, but that's partly down to childhood nostalgia) and that was something I 100{fc17e15ed6c8f701884a899a735d4ed94fc8cfa66fc2f404dd33f42f9afeb7a1} wasn't expecting. I was expecting it to get on the Top 10 list of my favourite films for usre but didn't realise just how much I would like it would mean knocking Wreck-It-Ralph, previously #5, off the top 5 and making it joint #1.

The hyena trio here is a nice touch, BTW. I personally think that Zootopia takes place in Robin Hood's world and that there are fully-anthro versions of all the Disney animals in Zootopia.

    • Of course, I'm only going by the gross domestic in theatres. I could be wrong on the sales of home media.

    • Then you'll love this
