Media coverage for movies with highly anticipated release dates is an anomaly. Part of it is up to the studio’s willingness to let the various actors and actresses speak up about the movie in question. They are only allowed to say so much while playing the key part of a promoter. This goes for both big media events as well as individual interviews. Of course, interviews are a little less controlled with the person having a bit more freedom in what they do or don’t say. Even still every interview and event is a way for fans and the public in general to get a look at a movie before its release. Recently Ke Huy Quan did an interview about his involvement in the film.
