It’s nearly Chinese New Year, and with this being the Year of the Snake, Disney is ready to show off the fugitive reptile himself! New art has appeared around Disneyland Shanghai promoting Gary, the latest addition to their repertoire of animated snakes. It really is the perfect year for him to make his debut, isn’t it? He seems to be all over the park now, with their new springtime decor.
He’s on pictures on lamps…
Signs on doors…
And murals on walls!
Beyond that, he has his own statue out in the front of the park, presumably life-sized (though that’s speculation on our part).
Seen here in the day, with the flowers and blossoms
And at night, with the sign illuminating his belly and scales.
Of course, Gary isn’t the only star of the show, and it wouldn’t do to promote Zootopia without some signs of our favorite duo!
And even Clawhauser gets some representation. Apparently he’s incredibly popular in china. Who doesn’t love him?
Overall, Disneyland Shanghai once again gives us reasons to go visit. You can find the original post these images came from over on XaioHongShu, a chinese social media platform. Hope you all have an excellent day, and remember, as always…
