Boy Howdy is this a big ‘un, fans.
This January, from the well accomplished and prolific creators at Dynamite Entertainment debuts a new comic series set in the City of Zootopia!
We’ve had many comics over the years made by the hands of the fans themselves and they have a legacy of their own. This; however, comes with the blessing and behest of Disney. So naturally, as with any canonical work from the House of Mouse, you’ll need to pay for it if you wanna see it! It still feels so unreal to finally be talking about new official content doesn’t it? What an exciting time to be a fan.
The series is being written and illustrated by Jeff Parker and Alessandro Ranaldi. Both of whom are men with a list of works that are as exciting and diverse as the citizens of Zootopia themselves. Check them out here on the Dynamite Entertainment Website.
Story-wise, we can expect monthly issues starring Officers Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in various cases around the city. Starting with rounding up saboteurs at a tech event. Followed by the foiling of as yet untold escapades and capers. And ultimately when all the dust settles, the conclusion tying everything back together into what promises to be the highest-stakes finale that our dynamic duo have faced yet!
