ZNN Secures Exclusive: An Interview with Jared Bush

What’s up, everybody? We’re back with some more updates on the up and coming Zootopia sequel! The Q&A with Jared Bush is over and we’ll have footage of that up later, but for now, we’ve got another surprise for you all. Our mammal on the scene, kaijuking, managed to snag an exclusive interview with Jared for ZNN and managed to get a few answers to some of the fandom’s biggest questions now that we know a little bit more about what’s coming for Zootopia.

You can check out the full interview and transcript below. He only had time to answer three questions but we managed to make it count, and I’d say Jared’s answers certainly gave us all some things to ponder.

 

kaijuking: Thank you so much. Great panel session, I’m so hyped for this movie.

Jared: Great!

kaijuking: A quick few questions?

Jared: Sure.

kaijuking: Will we see anything that was not used in the first film or scrapped like Wilde Times in the sequel at all?

Jared: That’s a really good question. There are definitely some things we have talked about. I don’t think I can confirm anything yet, but definitely there’s a few things I’d love to see again.

kaijuking: Okay. Awesome, thank you. Also, for Gary, the new character, there’s been some questions about if he’s fully sapient because he’s not wearing any clothing.

Jared: That’s a really good question. I’d say I don’t think we can really talk about Gary too much besides I think that he’s definitely a sentient character and I think we’re definitely going to learn a lot of interesting things about him.

kaijuking: Final question, any effects from the Night Howler case from the first one that might flow into the second one?

Jared: I think that any information about the case we’re going to keep under wraps for right now. I’ll just say that it’s a fun, twisty, windy road.

kaijuking: Awesome, thank you, I so appreciate this. Thank you so much.
