Hello all! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m always up for a good laugh or two, and one of the nice things about animated movies is that they usually have more than their fair share of them. Unsurprisingly, Zootopia is no exception as it’s got a lot of jokes and comedic moments to help lighten the mood. I don’t know which moment is your favourite, but the DMV scene always stood out to me. I’m sure many of us can relate to Judy and the frustration of having to deal with the excruciatingly slow-moving gears of bureaucracy, especially when it was clear Nick had no interest in helping move things along.
Well, it turns out I’m not the only one who thinks so as MsMojo recently released a video listing their top 10 funniest moments in animated movies and the DMV scene managed to snag the #1 spot! Turns out bureaucracy can be quite hilarious, just as long as it’s happening to somebody else.

What I love so much about this scene is the body language (the words not spoken by intent,) but maybe by the subconscious between these mammals, especially Nick observing Judy. I love the emotion in Judy’s ears. (Opposite of Nick’s ) it is a great scene to understand what makes Zootopia different than any other animated animal charecter story.
