I don’t know about you guys, but I always like looking back at people’s work and comparing it to how it looks now. It’s always fascinating to view their work changes over time and how it reflects on the things they have learned and refined.
Why am I talking about this? Well, a while back we looked at a lovely little piece of work by Tamomochi where he created an animated version of a storyboard scene that never actually made it into the movie. It was an impressive piece of animation to be sure, but there was room for improvement. That tends to be the case for most things in life, after all. Well, I’m glad to say that he’s made those improvements, and now he’s back to show us with another animated short of the scene. It looks like it’s gone through quite a lot of refinement since last time, and now it looks smoother and better than ever.
Be sure to check the new version out down below or over on Twitter. Apparently, he’s got plans to revise it even more in the future, and I certainly can’t wait to see what else he does with it.
Tie downs are done for my zootopia animation. I’m hoping to ink and paint this next whenever I have time.#Zootopia #Disney #wip #2danimation #CLIPSTUDIOPAINT pic.twitter.com/1USFK9VjTk

Now this is how I’d like the series to look.
2D animated you mean?
