Three years ago today, the world was introduced to a film that would earn over a billion dollars in the box office and earn an Oscar as best animated picture of 2016.
Three years ago today, the culmination of four hard years of work from Byron Howard, Rich Moore, Jared Bush, and many, many other talented artists and creators at Walt Disney Animation Studios was shared with the world.
Three years ago today, a movie debuted that would dramatically impact my life. I didn’t know it at the time- I wouldn’t discover it until a week or two into its run.
Three years ago today… Zootopia came out in theaters.
And the world has been a better place ever since.
I’m not going to give some long, rambling letter about how much it means to me this year. I’ve done that before. Instead, I would like to hear from you, the fans of Zootopia. Those who have loyally been supporting this community for three whole years. Those who just discovered it. Those who lost interest after a while but have fond memories of it.

OMG! Three years! What a Awesome Movie!
Still one of the best animated films to grace the screen in recent years, and certainly one that has left an ever reaching affect on my life. Happy 3rd Anniversary to Zootopia, the community, and here’s to many more to come!
