Looks like minorsaurus_rex, an animator at Disney, has uploaded an earlier version of Judy’s police academy graduation on instagram! It’s a bit different than what was used for the finale scene, and I think Judy didn’t make valedictorian in this draft? Either way, it’s awesome to see her taking the police oath! So much amazing material that didn’t make it into the movie, the sheer amount of brilliance and creativity left unused demands a sequel if nothing else.
That “we are zootopia” line finally makes sense. I have the carrot pen/recorder with preloaded lines from the movie and Judy says that passionate line. I was so confused as to where in the entire movie she ever said it.
