ZNN is looking for volunteers!

It’s been a long time since we’ve done one of these.  We want to bring you more original content, and to facilitate that, we are looking for new volunteers!  This will allow us to bring you more ZNN Interviews much quicker, as well as restarting our Translation Team to bring you comics from members of the fandom around the world.

Currently we need:

  • Artists.  Experience with vector graphics preferred, but not required.
  • Video Editors.  This will help us get more interviews out at a much faster rate.
  • Treasure Hunters.  These people will search the internet for more original fan-art and content that we haven’t yet featured on ZNN.  Regular use of Twitter and Pinterest preferred.
  • Social Butterflies.  These people will manage our Facebook and Pinterest accounts.  Additional applicants, if interested, may also volunteer to help the Zootopians facebook page.
  • Translators.  If you can read and write in Japanese or Korean, we need your help!
  • Image Editors.  We need people skilled in image manipulation to take the translations we get and format the comic properly with the new dialogue.


For each of these roles, we will need one or two people who can work well in a team, who can take direction, and who can work consistently.  You would need to contribute at least three hours of work per week, depending on the task.  Also, we use Discord for all of our team communication, so if you don’t have it, download it here.

Be prepared to show us what you are able to do, and don’t be surprised if we have some sort of “audition” for you when you get there.

    • Hello! There is not a clear deadline yet. Right now, we are just waiting to receive as many people as possible, to start with some kind of "selection process". The applications may be open for another week.

  5. I'd be willing to lend my services as a video editor if there is still a need for one. In terms of experience, I am an active staff member within my high school journalism team, directed/wrote and filmed our school's homecoming video, and have experience on both Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. In addition, I have had two of my videos published on this site in the not-so-distant past (Battlefield 1: Zootopia; If Micheal Bay Directed Zootopia).     • We would be very interested in your talents to help out. However, since we do the bulk of our communication and organization (about 98{fc17e15ed6c8f701884a899a735d4ed94fc8cfa66fc2f404dd33f42f9afeb7a1}) on Discord, this is something you're going to need to have to sign into for this to be a successful partnership.
