A grave, heavy opening gives way to an engrossing story of loss and reprisal as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde struggle to take back their lives following an unspeakable tragedy. Smart, well-paced action elements are complemented by an array of intriguing original characters as well as strong character-driven moments. And you’ll be rooting for a certain bunny and fox the entire way — not that you needed much convincing. Rated M for strong language and some violent scenes. ~YFWE
NOTE: This is a re-write of Shadows in the Dark. The original was started before the movie released, and as a result had a lot of characterization problems. This re-write is designed to fix that, and I’d say Agent’s done a pretty good job of it.
