Comic: I Missed you! (by FeverWildeHopps)

Not every day we see high-quality comics drawn entirely in pen and pencil.  The only other one we’ve really seen try this is PvtScott’s “The Wilde-Hopps Chronicles”, (which, might I add, is also superb).

Taking a much less action-packed approach, “I Missed You”, by FeverWildeHopps, tells the story of a visit from Judy to the Police Academy while Nick is still in training, along with Judy’s very flirtatious cousin.  Fever absolutely NAILS the expression work in this comic, especially when Judy realizes some of her cousin’s intentions.  The handwriting takes a little bit to get used to, but once you’ve figured it out it’s very clear and legible.

All in all, if you want something sweet, emotional, and simultaneously heart-warming and heart-wrenching, look no further than “I Missed You”.

Check out the comic over on Tumblr, or read the full story (up to the most recent update) after the break.

  1. Awwww those last panels! Yeah, they'll be 'just friends' until someone is interested in one of them.

  2. Aaahhh, this GREAT comic!! Finally got the recognition it very well deserves!!!

    (Disclosure: I'm @zootopepo)

  3. Here's hoping this isn't it all: that seems a particularly cruel, Mead-ish way to end it if it is.

    • I'm pretty sure you meant "protege" rather than "prodigy". Never hurts to double-check definitions…

  4. Ooooo I know the problem very well…
I had it myself. Now I'm here reading comics about a fox and a bunny ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    • So……did u handle that problem….? If so pm me on how. My sis is going through the same thing and….as a big bro…i want to help but i don't know ^_^
