This amazing art by PullTogether
Just as a word of warning. Although I'm particularly proud of the latest chapter of Lost Causes and Broken Dreams, it is also the most difficult ones from an emotional perspective.
The latest chapter involves both the death of an infant, as well as a clinical description of a late term abortion, and the emotional impact from it. Both scenes were incredibly difficult to write, and tonally, you'll find them to be quite different, but heartrending might be too kind a descriptor.
I've received a lot of positive praise for it, but it's almost always been couched with comments on how sad the chapter was…and more than one reader commented on someone cutting onions next to them during the final scene.
Regardless, I thank you for continuing to showcase the story, and I hope that readers will be able to enjoy the latest chapter to some degree.
Uhh, both Nick Needs a Family and Zootopia Plot Bunny Buffet are stories by me, PullTogether 🙂 Red Velvet Panda did however create the wonderful artwork for Nick Needs a Family though!
They also mixed up Run, which is by Ephonemes. I'll make a post on the Discord chat.
Actually they mixed up all the stories except for mine. The artist for the cover art was used instead.
Hooray for procrastinating on getting proper cover art done!
I messaged Andy on Discord about the mix up.
Haha, amazing artwork. Good grief.
At least it was fixed quickly…and it was the best I could do with PowerPoint. I'm a scientist, not an artist ;-P
