This is an awesome and earnest take on the ‘meeting the parents’ scenario, in which Nick is grilled by Bonnie and Stu about his shady past, the time he’s spent with Judy, and his intentions towards their daughter. Not only does this one-shot provide a detailed account of Nick’s background, but it also imparts a fair amount of emotion and integrity while doing so. Very fulfilling and enjoyable to read. ~DrummerMax64

Nick is nervous about meeting Judy’s parents. When they ask him an honest question, he finds the best way to win them over is to simply tell the truth. In doing so, we learn a thing or two about Nick’s past.
