I know that a lot of people
are hesitant to give oc-driven fics a chance, and not wrongly so often, but if
you’re going to read just one, read Kitsunegari. The plot is compelling, and the
portrayal of predator-prey relations is nuanced and well thought out. The author
does make some sylistic decisions that may work for you or may not such as using
the scientific names for many animals when first introduced, and on top of that
the main character’s name “OC Fuchs” smacks of names like Hiro Protagonist.
Overall though, kistunegari is well worth your time to look at. ~Nota
