Zootopia’s not COMPLETELY out of theaters yet! There are still a few that are playing it, be they dollar movies, private showings, or, in this case, Drive-in Theaters!
Redman404, the author of “Hopps and Robbers”, is putting together a meetup event for all Zootopia fans living in the New England area of the Northeastern United States! This includes Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and even Vermont, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania, if you feel like driving a pretty good distance.
The event will be held at the Southington Drive-In in Southington Connecticut, on Saturday, August 27th. The price is $15 per car, or $2 per person for walk-ons. Mark your calendars now so you don’t forget!
And as a bonus, I, Andy Lagopus, will be there!* So, if you want to hang out and have a great time IRL, I will see you there!
For more details, check out this post over on Reddit, where the announcement was originally made.
*Unless I can get an actual job that pays money, in which case if they have me working that day I will be working. All objects removed, though, and I will certainly be there.
This is sooooo cool!
I really hope I can go, but I doubt it.
Does anyone happen to live in Vegas? Vegas still has one theater showing it.
Does anyone have a list of theaters still playing the movie? Maybe specifically in the northern California area?
Hopefully I will be free to attend!
You know, it would be cool to have a lives stream where everyone could watch and talk.
It isn't the same as going to the theater, but that way anyone could watch.
I've noticed a lot of people who see this, even on Reddit, want a version of it in their area.
This could potentially solve that.
